Papa Momar Diop

Mr. Papa Momar Diop, historian and archivist, is former Director of the National Archives of Senegal and former Ambassador Permanent Delegate of Senegal to UNESCO. He is a member of the UNESCO International Commission for Peace Research, Vice President of the Memory of the World International Advisory Committee and President of the African Regional Memory of the World Committee (ARCMoW). He is also associate professor at the Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis in Senegal, teaching on “Initiation to the Memory of the World Programme and Documentary Heritage”, “Oral Sources Management” and “Heritage and Sustainable Development”
