Lydia Muthuma

Lydia Muthuma is a senior lecturer in The Technical University of Kenya. She is an alumna of L’école doctorale Montaigne, Bordeaux III, France.  Culture and visual art, especially Eastern Africa’s contemporary production, is the focus of her research. Dr. Muthuma has published journal articles and book chapters on the intersection of culture and the visual arts. She curates and mounts exhibitions like  ‘A photographic story, Changing Perspectives: Nairobi Past and Present’. 4th July – 4th September 2019 at the National Museums of Kenya, Nairobi. She is a member of SCEaR working group for Africa.
